Types of Blood Tests We Provide at our Dublin Clinic

We provide various types of Blood Tests in our Dublin clinic, some of which include Standard health check tests, Thyroid test, Hormone test, and Urine Test.

Standard Health Check test:

This is a general Blood test as part of a yearly routine or exam. Doctors often check a complete Blood count which measures the amount of red and white blood cells, iron and platelets in your blood. These tests can then detect anaemia, swelling, infections, diabetes and bleeding disorders.

Thyroid Test:

The thyroid gland produces hormones that are important for your body’s metabolism to run normally. Some of the blood tests carried out are T3 and T4, these will determine the level of the thyroid hormones. It will then outline whether the thyroid gland hormone production is overactive, under active, or normal.

Hormone Test:

A hormone test is generally done to check the levels of follicle-stimulating hormone and estrogen during menopause for women and tests for men would include Testosterone, DHEA, estrogen and progesterone.

Urine Test:

Urine tests can diagnose urinary tract infections, blood, urea, nitrogen, creatinine, calcium and, phosphate levels.
