Complaints Procedure

We aim to get things right — but if we haven't, we want to hear from you and put it right.

How to Raise a Concern

1

Talk to us directly

Most concerns can be resolved informally by raising them with our reception team or your doctor at the time. We aim to resolve informal concerns within 5 working days.

2

Put it in writing

If the matter needs more attention, write to the Practice Manager at info@aungierclinic.ie or by post to 1st Floor, 16 Redmond's Hill, Aungier Street, Dublin 2, D02 YK19. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and give you a full written response within 30 working days — if the investigation takes longer, we'll keep you updated on progress.

3

Escalate if needed

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the relevant external body directly — see below.

External Bodies

Complaints about a doctor's fitness to practise can be made to the Medical Council. Complaints about nursing care can be made to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). If your concern relates to a service provided on behalf of the HSE (for example a national screening programme), you can also use the HSE's "Your Service, Your Say" feedback process.
